    Iron Volume 'Buzz' with full tones?

    The only thing I would like to change is to be able to hear the iron 'buzz' at my set disc level, but still have full tones on all above disc level... Could there be a way to set the tonal breakpoints to achieve this? not possible, is it?

    Difference between ATP & ATP International?

    Other than the obvious icon/control overlay, do the machines use the exact same hardware? 15khz, right? curious...was told on a Brit board they are entirely different innerds. Have a hard time believing Garret would make 2 separate ATP's (not to include AT Gold).

    ground probe

    My soil is full of ore; vdi @ -94 and I use 5khzbp filter as mineralization is just under 10% When I check the % of signal with ground probe, if I move the coil to the ground, noise jumps up to 200% +/-, and if I leave the coil still on the ground, will settle down from there. 30-50% noise...

    7 nails and a penny...

    crazy. the penny was full length of the propointer deep and before getting to it, pulled 5 reg. and 2 square nails from the hole! soil 84, 2.6% at this particular site what's masking? :thumbup:

    Storing in Library

    is it possible to shorten my program list to the 3-4 I want to use, and put the rest including factory programs in the Library?

    Prog>Setup>Excludes...

    once there, do I go to 'all programs' and tick boxes for what I want as global setting, or...go to each individual program and tick boxes for what common attributes I want them to look at or...? Please clarify; the manual is a little unclear... What are generally being used as common...

    going to need a better digger...

    ...'cause this v3i is going deeper than my atp! New guy, been out 3 times; figuring it out...not nearly as complicated as it would seem, and stock progs with tweaks ought to hold me for a while. appreciate the knowledge base here.

    v3i in iron ore soil..?

    I am considering a v3i; I am concerned about using in my loal area. The immediate area has a number of mid-1700's mines/furnaces; some were used to supply G Washington as he came through here. I amcurrently using an ATP that will GB @ 95-96 in this soil, but I do not know how mineralized it...
