    First time out recommendations?

    When I got my new V3i, I just ran stock programs. I figured that I should learn the basics of the detector before adjust/tweaking any settings. Happy hunting.

    V3i First Voyage

    Went to a local park today with the V3i, First impressions - I like it so far no problems or complications. I learned that when the VDI reads '19" its a nickel every time. I dug a lot of pull tabs but only because I was trying to learn the machine. Can't wait for future hunts.

    As long as UPS don't screw up my new White's V3i will be here tomorrow.:clapping: But as my luck goes it suppose to rain all day long. I guess I will just to to read the manual and play with it indoors. Hopefully you V3i pros will lend me some advise as time goes by, I'm sure I will need it.

    Question about pinpointing?

    Hello I was thinking of upgrading to the Minelab Safari and have been watching videos and reading as much as I can find before I make the purchase. My question is when pinpointing does the Safari show you an estimated depth of the target also?
