    Will v rated coils work on a MXT E-tracker?

    Thinking about dusting of my MXT. Haven't had it out for a couple of years. Been thinking about getting a new coil for it. Mainly used the 6x10 DD on it. Was wondering if the V-rated coils would work. Thinking about getting a 10- D2. Thanks HH Ken

    Thinking about an Ace 350.

    Todays finds!!

    Was really nice weather today in Pgh. and had some free time so I took my 70 to the local ballfield . Started with the 10.5 MF and got tired of digging deep iron so switched to the 6" HF for the rest of the day. Finished the day with about $4.00 in clad, two tags, and a nice button. The tag on...

    Does anyone use the "coin plus" feature on their 70 or 705?

    I was watching some vids on MLOTV and came across one of Des explaining this feature. It was the first time I had heard of it . Was wondering if anyone used it and if there were any advantages or disadvantages to it. I am going to try to get out this weekend and try it. Thanks Ken

    My first gold coin!!!

    Went to an old park by the city yesterday just hoping for some old silver. After about an hour of just digging clad my 70 rang out. I cut the plug and couldn't believe it,there it was GOLD!!! OMG!! after doing the chicken dance I carefully dug the coin out of the plug. I had it in my hands...

    Weeks finds!!

    I was on vacation this week and was able to get out three times with my 70. I hit several ball fields finding over $5.00 in clad and a handful of wheaties, a pair of silver earings, a gold bracelet but dont see any marks on it , and a gold ring. Also was able to find a 46 quarter, 2- 43 war...

    How high do you run your sensitivity on your 70?

    I usually run mine as high as possible, 28 to 30. It gets to be pretty noisy. Today i went to a ball field and tried lowering it to about 15. While it was quiet and stable, I felt like I was missing things by not hearing the blips. What does everyone else do? Have a good day. Thanks Ken

    Today's Finds 14K!!

    Had some time today so I took the 70 to a ball field I haven't been to in a while. Found the usual clad and pulltabs then these popped up. They were found in the same hole. They are marked 14K 585. Don't know if the diamonds are real will have to have them tested.Was using the 6 in. HF coil...
