And we always know where the wife is, lol.Man that tracking tech is really getting nuts.
Did you ever think you'd willingly carry a personal tracking device ??
Now you're wife always knows where you are.
My daughter does. And we always know where the wife is, lol.
If they have a pass code and I can't return them I sometimes have to damage them in order to get paid from Gazelle or Buy Back World. The last one was a Iphone 17 in perfect condition. I punched a hole in the screen and got $273 from Gazelle. It's a shame but I've learned alot when dealing with GazelleWhat do you guys do with the locked I phones that you find in the water ??
Silenced ?Can you imagine your teenage kids knowing exactly where you are and when you are coming home? Man, it is good that stuff wasn’t around when my high school girlfriend and I were together back then! But seriously, some of that tracking stuff is good. I have silenced Apple AirTags hidden in our vehicles, my ebike, and in my expensive detector and camera cases.
Oh, and I also have an Apple AirTag on my wallet and on my keychain too, and those gnomes haven’t come back ever since then. I think they’re afraid of the tags or something!
I remove their speakers so they are more easy to hide. It’s easy to do and there are instructions on how to do it on YouTube.Silenced ?
Still a bit confuzed.I remove their speakers so they are more easy to hide. It’s easy to do and there are instructions on how to do it on YouTube.
Funny story, when I got my new civic in 2022 I hid two airtags in my civic after removing the speakers and I did my boat and truck. 3 years late Im getting the low battery warnings from both in the civic. I remembered where did hide one but not the other. So make sure if you remove the speakers to list where in each is located in the vehicle ..When a stranger’s iPhone alerts them that there’s an AirTag tracking them nearby, they can make it beep in order to make it easier to find. Taking out the little speaker (piezoelectric disc) will prevent that.
You can also get, on Amazon, I suppose, a battery holder that uses two AA batteries for the Apple Airtags - if you use two lithium AA's for it, it will last years longer than the little CR2016 battery disc they normally take. There are also free 3D print files available to make your own (that's what I would like to do- it'll probably last longer than me, and my wife will lovingly think (or swear?) of me every time it beeps her and she'll never find it!!Funny story, when I got my new civic in 2022 I hid two airtags in my civic after removing the speakers and I did my boat and truck. 3 years late Im getting the low battery warnings from both in the civic.
