    My E-trac finds so far

Greetings to you all from the South Western side of Australia: I've been using the E-trac with various coils in many various coil conditions. The stock coil is just fine. Feels comfortable using it. Hasn't found me anything major or rather ---I haven't walked over it ......YET!..... but it's a...

Old Colonial Field glb mode file to try

I use these settings with a wide open Quickmask screen. I use very little discrimination for the deeper silver and copper coins. SHOULD work to find gold coins and jewelry on the same old colonial inland site that has a relatively high iron mineral content. Adjust the settings to suit. Also...

Just tried the my new 4.5x7 Inch EXcelerator Coil for Explorer that I purchased from Kelly Co on the E-TRAC

but I did this inside the house. Hmmm this is a pretty good little setup. I'm impressed generally by the E-TRAC, stock coil and all. Yes, it is similar to the Explorer SE but it isn't one. Certainly a step forward and great example of what can be achieved using it's far more intuitive set...

Put the Explorers to a novel use today. Organized an easter egg hunt for the kids that included finding very shallow buried easter eggs with the Explorers. The easter treats were also hidden hidden under leaves and various places that would need them to be found by also sighting them in and on...

Explorer SE + Coilteck Platypus Coil= :clapping:

I haven't field tested this combo yet, but I tried it out on my test bed and I reckon it's going to be nothing short of a brilliant combination. The Platypus Coil worked wonders for my Explorer 2 and my Explorer XS. Next it's the 15 inch WOT coils' turn. Hard Nosed Dave

MattR. Detecting with the Explorer in wet ,salt water soil.....

or immersing the coil to search the soil under water in salt water. I've notice that in some cases there seems to be a firm resolve by you and others on an increase in detecting depth, by certain detectors, on targets of a size, metal type and even a detection of mineral oxide that certain...

    White's surfmaster P.I

Does anyone know of an "off the shelf" eliptical double "d" coil that would work with the surfmaster p.i. or is it a specialised request from a specialist coil builder and/or detector techician/specialist. Thanks Hard Nosed Dave.
