    Help! Detector quit

    Two items?

    The first item is a button I think. Made of copper or brass. Or is it something else? The second item looks like a old broach but the plastic insert type thing doesn't seem to fit. Or is the piece really not that old? Thanks for looking and look forward to your replys.

    coil for field hunting?

    Right now I use the stock coil only for my MXT. However I do alot of field hunting and was wandering what would be my best bet for a deeper coil. Should I go larger for more ground cover? Any help would be appreciated. Live in Indiana. Soil conditions are not bad at all. Thanks.

    atifacts?

    The oval piece looks like a bird is inscribe on it, back side flat. Very heavy, maybe lead. The rectangle piece is lead I believe with no marks on it. Not sure if the other is an Indian artifact. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking.

    First seated

    Some of my finds over the last month. Top row are finds from a road construction project running through a small town that had a train depot and a hotel accross the street back in the day.     Another Large cent

    Went back out to the old homestead where I found my first large cent and today found my second 1835 holed large cent. This one was all the way up by the road where the field stops. Not as nice as the first one. I hunted with no trigger. Broke yesterday.
