Anyone using the 9" concentric for the VX3?

If you mean the 9" concentric and not the 950 coil they both give about the same performance. The 9" is a little lighter and has a better balanced attachment point.

Video and why the V3i is so good

Sorry about that. There is a lot to discuss besides other detectors. It's just like the no advertising on videos rule. It is the way it is.

Video and why the V3i is so good

Does anyone hunt with the analyze screens?

None of the guys I know do. I don't use the analyze screens myself. They don't add much for me over the main screen and pinpoint screen.

    Sensitivity Zoom Screen on V3i

Remember, my answer is word for word from Whites as stated in the VX3 manual.(page 6-5) This was the last manual written by Carl before he left Whites and is a MUST read.

    Sensitivity Zoom Screen on V3i

Martin, there would be no loss of depth, just more possible overloading on large and shallow targets. Postal, my explanation is pasted right out of the VX3 manual. The VX3 and V3i are electrically identical, The VX3 manual was the last and best written manual. We have one and only one control...

    Sensitivity Zoom Screen on V3i

On the right side of the screen are two live “signal quality” numbers. The “Signal” number tells you what percent of the total signal range is currently being received; that is, how much “residual” signal is being seen. Ideally, if you hold the loop in the air away from metal targets, this...

    Sensitivity Zoom Screen on V3i

It isn't a quirk, the percentages only show in the RX choice. As you use the arrows you are just scrolling in and out of the RX choice. The probe signal % reading is not really showing signal loss. What it is showing is how close the detector is to approaching the overload point. The V3i can...

    lurking

Depends on location. I'm in a very poor location for old find detecting. The few public areas have been hammered for years. In my area there are no abandoned sites, they get built over. Also our county parks are now off limits. Oh, for the old days. I find less which causes me to go less. My...

RnB hp 2900 and 3100 difference..owners of both please help...

It's not on a label. There are only so many hours in a day. I've never been able to detect long enough in a day to run the 2900 down. Most people don't have the energy to run down the 2100's. I see no need for a multi day battery. I charge them after a hunt and am ready for another full day.

RnB hp 2900 and 3100 difference..owners of both please help...

    5.3 Eclipse Coil for V3i

The optimum Recovery Delay for a given sweep speed is one that will give you two signals on two targets that are one coil's width apart.
