    Made it to myrtle beach.

    I just got back yesterday from Myrtle. I only found a bunch of clad, junk, and gum ball machine jewelry. i didn't have any problem with the machine, it worked 100% except for a few falsing signals from time to time.     Humor me, Why do I need to hear Threshold?

    I just wanted to make sure I was not missing a bunch of stuff because of it. I will keep my peace and quiet thanks. I get enough "noise" at home! I hope my wife donesn't see this!:stretcher: I will try it next time, to see if I can understand more of what the detector is telling me.

    Taking the Vision to Myrtle Beach next week! Tips?

    Any of you Beach Hunters have any tips for me? I am going to try to get out at sunrise(for washed in stuff), and around 6:00 PM for lost items. Richard@Backwoods has already told me to take a small camp type shovel instead of a scoop. Any other tips for setting up the Vision for best results??

    Humor me, Why do I need to hear Threshold?

    OK, I have turned the Threshold down on C&J because that is what I use the most. If I have disc. out everything below +10 why do I need to listen to that constant noise of the threshold. I am new, and maybe missing a key point of Threshold in the first place?:shrug:

    Steep learning curve for V3

    I am a newbie as well. Things can be found with turn on and go programs. I had to lower the sensitivity quite a bit, but have found a lot of clad in the little time I have actually hunted. I have more time in the living room with it than outside, which has really helped when I do get it outside...

    Shot in the dark here. Do you have a Bluetooth cellphone? Bluetooth can be finicky on cellphones and headsets. There may be some interference?
