    Winter detecting today wasn't too bad.

    I am looking for a Limiter circuit and amplifier to follow a whites Classic ID. I want to be able to boost quieter deeper signals. I have some op amp chip laying around and want to build for my own personal use.

    Everyone ready for the Detector season to begin?

    This is when I find by best finds. The lakes are low and the parks are empty of people and there's no bugs or hot sun. The ground is usually soft for a little while and even that first half inch of ice can be broken pretty easily. I've been out every weekend the past few here in New England...

    What 8" coil is hottest for the idx and xlt.

    There are a lot of varieties of these coils and I want one that will be comparable to my Black Max 5.3 which is really impressive.
