    Why are so many hung up on "Locked in salt mode" ???

    I often read post about the 20/21 being "locked" in salt mode. As if not being in saltwater mode is going to give you a half a foot more depth. This switch on CZs is not a depth switch. The depth diffrence beween the two is minimal at best. Yet everyone carrys on like your losing big time...

    It seems that every gold target ive pulled with the CZ has had a solid mid tone two way hit. I have dug many thousands of mixed tone signals as well.     Autotune with Audio boost.... depth?

    What kind of depth in the wet salt are you guys getting ? I did the trick with putting foam inside the ear cups so i can run the volume "Audio boost all the way up. Add Autotune mode and was hitting deep targets the standard discrim mode would not.

    CZ-21 housing cracks?

    Cleaning up my CZ this morning. I noticed what looked like a fine scratch on the housing by the head phone wire. Looking closely the other side by the coil wire has the same thing. Was there/ has there ever been a problem with the housings having hair line cracks? Take a hard look at your units...

    Snow on the beach and did some testing

    Took four machines to the beach. There was snow all the way to the water. CZ-21, Excal, AT Pro and ETrac. I have video but im new to it. almost got the edit done. Short and sweat the ETrac and EXcal didn't do squat. I'm not new to the hobby and have many hours on the ET. I expected more. Same...

    My beach pattern "silver and gold"

    After many finds and testing. This is what i use. I did add 46 and up for silver and coins. Most tabs "pull or square" that have been in the saltwater will bounce. Gold and Plat however will always hit true and stay on or close to the 12 line. No matter the depth.
