    Please be aware that if you buy a new SEF coil it no longer includes a coil cover...

    I bought new 6 x 8 and 10 x 12 coils recently on ebay through Aardvark(Kellyco)...they both arrived without covers to my dismay unlike any I have purchased new before...apparently the manufacturer is no longer shipping them with covers and the covers have to be purchased separately which is not...

    Clarification of two tone ferrous setting options?

    From what I've read, you can achieve two tone ferrous by using the relic program or going into wide open quickmask after setting it for ferrous, two tones, then blocking out some of the fe 1 line? I guess I need it spelled out a bit more-duh on my end, those damn simple CZ's I used for years :)...

    The overall balance of the X-Terra with the stock 9 inch coil is a far cry away from a Fisher F-75 or T2...I was wondering if this combo makes a substantial difference? Thanks in advance...HH

    What I have found after testing numerous 1021 and 1121 CZ-3D's over the years...

    To satisfy my curiousity, I have tested at least 15-20 1021 and 1121 CZ-3D's over the years since they were first introduced...all were produced by Fisher while still in Los Banos, CA. Overall, I have never found any build quality problems with any of them but the tuning of each is a different...

    I surely understand the desire to keep the Vision forum on topic, just like the E-trac when it first came out,

    it was on the Explorer forum which created quite a few problems, so an E-Trac forum was created which was appropriate and super really :) I have been on this forum for years and really love it...and up to this point, we have had the liberty to discuss our opinions about a machine versus another...

    I just noticed something about my new E-Trac tonight....

    I think (know) Minelab is listening to us here in the US market. This is my 3rd E-trac and this time is the charm :) I believe. After using Fisher CZ's, CZ-70 Pros and CZ-3D's, for many years along with the Explorers it took me a bit to "get it" with the E-Trac...this forum and Andy's book...
