    Anyone using the Minelab Vanquish?

Update! I purchased the 440 and went out with it a few times. Its is as simple as it gets. Good depth and meets my needs. It may be too limited in features but I knew that from the get go. Very fun machine to use!

Desmond Dunne has passed away I've just learned. Great guy and always fun to converse with...

So Sad! May he rest in peace! I never spoke to him or communicated with him. I did however watch many of his videos and always enjoyed them. He had a nice way of explaining things and I am sure he will be missed by many! Rest in peace!

    Anyone using the Minelab Vanquish?

I always felt ...if I purchase a good machine, there would be no reason for me to consider a back up. Just want to make the right choice!

    Question on Pinpointer! ....Help

In the past I have used a Garrett Pinpointer. It did the job but the thing that I did not like about it was this: It would also sound off from thigs off the side of the pinpointer. What is the best pinpointer that will pinpoint just off the tip itself. and ...is there one that has a waterproof...

    Anyone using the Minelab Vanquish?

Let me ask a fair question without starting a war here! I am still undecided between the Vanquish 540 and the Equinox 800. What impressed you about the Vanquish more than the 600 If the targets were fairly shallow say 4 -6 inches or less, do you think the Vanquish would do the same as the...

Considering the EQ800 but have a question

Thanks for your reply! What if I hunt in Park 2 settings and lower the sensitivity a bit. I don't want to dig a hole from here to China. Just want to find that valuable stuff within a few inches. Don't want to wear a hard hat ....lol

Considering the EQ800 but have a question

Thank you for taking the time to write your informative reply! I surely appreciate it. I guess.....you could say that I am leaning towards the NOX. Surely, people will have visited the same place that I would likely detect. That being said, I think the NOX800 would give me the edge?

Considering the EQ800 but have a question

Hello - I am considering the Equinox800 or the Vanish 540 I like the Vanish 540 for the simplicity - Turn on and go I hear good things about the Equinox 800 I read the instruction manual for the EQ800 and it said to be a "turn on and go" but..... I also see Andy Sabish has books that explain...

    Equinox 1000

Well ,,,, after making the observation that the 800 is taking forever to get stocked, I guess that I will just wait until the next model comes out. Is there an Equinox 1000 on the horizon?

    Detector Hype and Confusion ....

I been reading the posts, looking at videos on some of the latest detectors and technology. The more I read and watch the more choices lead to more confusion. For Example - you have the Dues which is said to be easy to use but they sell a book and even boot camps to learn more? Then, I guess...

Is the XP easy to use?

Is the Dues easy to use? Looking for a decent detector that I can use for coin and jewelry and the beach. Your thoughts?

Really debating over this ...your thoughts?

The equinox looks like a great machine however, I am not totally sold on it. Well someone help me understand. Besides looking at the new Equinox, I am considering the new AT MAX. The reason I am considering it is because of the iron audio feature in the ATMAX. The only big difference I see is...
