    I don't feel the lack of adjustments makes the vx3 any easier to use . Imo it just limits the potential of the machine. The v3i can be just as simple as a vx3

    the v certainly isn't for everyone . I have 0 issue with deep coin on my v . 6 years and your still having issues with that machine . It might be time for u to sell and move on bro.

    I also hunt in 3 freq . Like gabby I also like to see how each freq are responding to a particular target. Especially which freq are wrapping around the corner

    Yeah the v ain't no at machine lol. Every machine has its benefits and drawbacks . Fwiw I hated the at pro ,and used the gold for 1.5 seasons and could never get comfortable with it . The v on the other hand, fits me like a glove :)

    Lower number is faster because lower number is less "delay" . I agree with keeping the sens low ,the v does not need to be hot to preform .

    Aside from disc mask the main setting are going to be filters Recovery delay and sensitivities. For recovery put 2 dissimilar targets a coils width apart and swing at your normal ,adjust the delay until u get both targets with the help appropriate tone . For rx I suggest using sensitivity probe...

    Depth is not really what I want.....

    I'm quite happy with the trash performance of the v . I hunt trashy parks pounded by other detectorists and still come out with old deep coins . Imo the value of the v is being able to sort out trash like bottle caps easily and iron falses, from coins . Like any detector it takes a bit to learn...
