Take action now: marketing error (?) is your gain...:twodetecting:

I have tested the new T2 green Classic outside and came to the result that the new T2 Classic must be a marketing error by First Texas. Why? I have listed all Teknetics from $499 in order by performance from lowest depth (Gamma) to the best depth in my test fielt. You can clearly see where...

How I set up my Teknetics T2 SE (DST)

I member contacted me and he was asking how I set up my T2 SE (DST). Here is how I set it up: Here in Germany I have no need to use DST on. I use the 9.1 software that turns DST off. Next I GB the detector and take a close look at the mineralisation readout (Fe3O4). If no Fe3O4 bar comes up...

Deep, deeper, T2 SE DST (upgrade)

I used the T2 SE DST for about 2 weeks now. Here is what I have to report: 1. It is much quieter when running it at hight sensitivity settings than the regular T2 SE. 2. Here in Germany I use 9.1 only (DST turned off), because it runs quiet and I don't need DST turned on to run it stable. 3...

Bottlecap trick for Teknetics T2 (and T2 LTD and SE)

Disc Level= 0 (important to be able to hear the low tone) # of Tones = dP (a different tone for every 0 to 99 number) With these settings bottle beer caps will give a low-high-low tone even with high vdi number. Silver Coins always a high tone with high number. Andy

If your Teknetics is not long enough......

Here is the tip of the day: If your Teknetics is not long enough and you have to use the last hole in the middle stem just order the lower rod of the Discovery 3300. Same rod as the Tek one but much longer. Andy,NM

    5x10 DD Coil on Omega:smile:

I put the new 5x10 DD Coil on my Omega and G2. Since the G2 can be run at 100% sensitivity even with the stock 11" coil there is not so much to gain but.....on the Omega! Most on the times it is not possible to run high sensitivity settings with the stock coil on the Omega, but with the new 10"...

    Playing with the T2 LTD

I liked the original T2 after all the updates and now I had to try the new T2 LTD with the new Boost and Cache modes. I didn't read the manual and was looking for the new modes in the menu. They are "bP" for Boost and "CL" for Cache hidden in the number of tones menu on the Discrimination side...
