    Fiberglass Fly Rods

    there is a fly fisher thread below but wondering if any take a step back in time and go with the fiberglass rods,, if so what are you currently using? My my two sweeties are a 2nd gen blue halo's in 3 & 5wts,,,, have some other custom rods but these I love.

    I just got a new pair and I like them except they are too tight on my head,,,,,,, wanted to ask if anyone else had this problem and if so do you know if the band inside the head piece is metal and will it stretch if I force it open a bit more to stretch it?

    battery's seem fine on the tongue test and show almost a full charge on the screen but once the detector beeps on something the whole screen goes dead? don't remember this happening last season and I had it stored with no batteries in it.. anyone have any ideas?
