    AM Disc Ground Balance

    Does all metal disc carry over ground balance settings from the search mode? Or is it just "retuned" by pressing the pinpoint button? I've had some odd results from the all metal disc search mode. It seems it has some serious ferrous non-ferrous search capabilities.

    Got a deus...

    Took it out on the back pourch (i live in an apartment) right next to two HVAC units, popped it into 18khz and dead silence! I was stunned, nothing I've taken out there has handled the EMI so well. I then found two coins two feet in front of the steps that all my other detectors never sounded...

    F75 Notching the trash.

    I'm a trashy parks hunter. I need a machine that notches quietly.. when the F75 is over a notched out tab (other notched out trash) will I be hearing pops and clicks.. I need a quiet park machine.... Also, does the f75 lose a lot of depth while notching?

    Racer 2 Noisy?

    Its probably me but man this Racer 2 is noisy. I've come from the Tesoro camp so who knows.. maybe everything is noisy after using a Tesoro lol..     Best budget new or used beach detector.

    5.75 coil wiring

    Was wiring a new plug on my 5.75 and noticed it has 4 wires and the ground sheilding.. When looking at the wiring from the back of the pcb there were only 4 wires.. So im guessing the green wire (the only wire not attached to the pcb) is soldered with the ground sheilding? Really all I need to...

    Pinpointer?

    I think my Garret Pinpointer is about to croak.. Looking for the next best pinpointer and there is a nokta waterproof one on sale right now. So what are your thoughts on the nokta? and if you had the money for a new pinpointer what would you buy?
