Pulling tabs at my favorite spot, and a few coins

Went over to my "goto" spot today for a bit. Only had an hour, but decided to give the Eurotek pro some leg work. I consistently pull the older tabs from this ball field. It never disappoints me :) I was impressed when I got a good "zinc" number. It was solid, so I dug it. First thing that...

    Quick basketball hunt

Still loving the Time ranger. I didn't get to hunt for a long as I wanted (only 45 minutes). I hunted on one end of a basketball court. I worked an area about 5x5. Not much to speak of, but I did land a 6" deep 42 nickel. I was using the 4" coil the whole time. It doesn't look like anyone...

Let me know how you make out. I would like to meet up when you learn it, to see it in action.

    Tracker IV vs Time Ranger

The title is actually deceiving. I don't actually plan on comparing these two. I already know where their strengths and weaknesses are. I just plan on taking them both out in the morning to hunt with. I have decided to keep the 4" coil on the Time Ranger. Since I always have the 4" on the...

    Nice little hunt today

For those who enjoy seeing what a regular hunt with some trash looks like :) One 1920 wheatie, some change, and a few nickels. I actually call this a decent hour out. Not every hunt produces the mind blowing finds :) The Time Ranger likes those nickels.

    Finally getting a Time Ranger

It has only taken me 12 years lol. Ever since I have read about Ed and Pineapple talk about theirs when I first purchased my tracker IV I have wanted one. Sure, I could have purchased a different coil for one of my existing machines, or bought a newer machine, but this is one I have wanted for...

    Some afterwork clad and silver?

Hit some nice clad pockets around the football fields. Also pulled out this small cap thing. It read like a quarter, but there are no markings. Could be silver, but either way had a good time.

    Good day with Eurotek

Had some fun digging this morning. Most was caught with the Etek. I was pretty excited at one point when I had a solid 92 reading. It ended up being 3 clad quarters in a spill. I had thought it would be a silver ring. Still happy with the finds :) The aluminum pop tops come in at a weird...

    Some boring digs  :teknetics:

I know everyone likes to post all their great hunts with the silver and gold, but I say post the blah digs as well. I have been hitting this same ball field all season with a few silvers found, but also a few good tabs also. I was using the Eurotek this morning, and continue to adjust to what...

    Tracker IV differences

I have 2 Tracker IV units as most of you all know. For the first time today I tested 3 coins I have buried in my yard. I have an Indian penny at 4", a silver Rosie at 4", and a silver Washington at 6". With one of the units I nailed the 2 shallow coins, and had a click on the deeper one. The...

All geared up for the weekend

I got my replacement Eurotek yesterday, and my White's 100$ gift package today. New digging pouch, lesch, probe, extra battery pack. The weekend is looking good :)

    1 silver in the rain

Made it over to my ball-field that has given me a few silvers this year. A little bit of rain, but not enough to stop me. I had a nice memorial penny spill that was sitting right on top of a rusty nail. That impressed me, but not unheard of with the classic series. It was fun to get out :)...

    8" Eurotek pro question?

I just got mine, and at 3 different sites I had a lot of extra chatter on my machine. That is with no cell phone, no EMI, and double checking my coil connection, coil wrap, and battery. Is it supposed to pick up 2-3 high tone chirps at every swing?

    Eurotek question

I have my Eurotek Pro on order (thanks Bart), but this question is about the standard Eurotek model. I am thinking about getting one for the kids in the future. Not many videos out there for this model. I did find one in another language. In the video he showed the back of the head unit, and...

    Fist silver quarter

Had a small group hunt today with some of my local peoples. It was on a 50 acre island that has seen activity for 200 plus years. No homes, just woods. Great all day event.

    8" Compadre depth?

Forgive me if this has already been asked. I was wondering if anyone has any solid depth numbers to compare between the 5.75" coil and the 8" on this machine. Thinking about getting another one :)

    Almost fainted with this one!

I got a pass to hunt after work today. Hit the town baseball field that used to the the high school football field from 1935-1968. About 30 minutes into the hunt out in deep right field I pulled my oldest coin to date. Had to sit down right there for a while. Looks to be in pretty good shape. I...

Another nice Classic III day

Hit the same spot as yesterday First signal was only a clad dime, but the second was a silver rosie! Also pulled 2 more coins, but just clad. I dug the usual pull-tabs, and some other junk. It was a good day.

Classic III nailed my first ever merc

I am sure it has happened to most of you before, but never to me. I had a quick 30 minutes to hunt today. I zipped over to the ballfield that I found a silver rosie at last year. Went over to the old 3rd base area and the first solid signal gave me a 1926 merc about 6 inches down My very first...
