    F75 date code question

My F75 shows 12 14 13 on start up. Is that one of the good dates for a new F75? By the way this is a gold tube unit purchased last January.

    Looking at the F75 LTD but . . .

So it’s been a year since the F75 upgrades started and I see you can get the F75 LTD for $1,099 now, which seems like a steal. I may be behind on this issue but I was just wondering if all the bugs were finally worked out. I own the F75 standard and it works great, excellent depth, I just dug...

    New V3i on the way!!

Thanks - I'm really liking this detector. Happy New Year!

    New V3i on the way!!

Hey SS '60 - Thanks for the feedback. No question you have to spend many hours with some detectors to gain a full appreciation of their ability. Years ago I had an F75 and sold it after a month or two, I just didn't spend enough time learning the thing. Now I spend a good deal of time when I...

    Not crazy about the F19 Camo . . .

Really like the G2 and the F19 with its additional features is a great addition, but not crazy about the camo. Anyone hear if they will be coming out with a more traditional color scheme?

ForsCore now with membrane buttons . . .

Just checked out the Notka site and see they are showing the ForsCore with what looks to be red membrane buttons. I guess the switches were subject to dirt. Interesting.

Original F75 - Back to basics

I really wanted to get a new LTD2 in a week or two, but I think I'll hold off and get a new, standard, classic, F75, gold shaft unit before they're no longer available. Seems like most dealers are getting the updated DST version of this model in now. There are still dealers that have stock of...

    Original F75 Still Available?

I was looking to get an original F75 and an F75 LTD as well next month. Based on what I'm reading, I may hold off on the LTD2, just want to check if the original F75's are still available. I checked Kellyco's site and the description for the plain F75 reads like the LTD2. If anyone knows of a...

    CZ-3D Sensitivity Setting

I have a few new detectors, but have always liked the CZ-3D and was wondering why, it seems, most set the CZ-3D sensitivity setting to "just before 5" for some reason. I would think you would see settings like 7, 8, . . . Is there something magic about this setting? Hoping to get one of these...

    New V3i user

I currently own both the MXT and now the V3i. In Preset, I found the MXT was a bit deeper. Setting the sense on my V3i to 78 puts it on par with the MXT. I gotta tell ya, for as much as I love the MXT the V3i is quite simply a much better detector. I love the fact that you can adjust the V3i...

    F75 LTD Upgrade question

I will be getting a new F75 LTD shortly from Kellyco. What needs to be done to get this upgrade? Do I need to call Fisher Labs and ship it to them after I get it? Looks like an excellent upgrade.

    New V3i on the way!!

Sure did! It came in a week ago and ran it through my test garden. I love my MXT but this is so much better in the fact you can tweak it to get all it offers for the hunt. I hope to get out this weekend - damn this work every day thing - when I have some day light. I'll post finds.

    Fors CoRe on Silver?

With an operating frequency of 15kHz I'm wondering how it does on older silver coins, which usually require a much lower frequency to be effective on deeper silver?

Horsepower of the V nets the coin I've been wishing for all year:thumbup:

Nice finds! Looks like you have an excellent understanding of the "V". I've only had mine for a few days now and hope to get out this weekend - even if it's cold here in NJ.

    New Property

I just got the V3i Saturday, I didn't realize the filtering effected the swing speed, Thanks for the tip.

    V3i - First Impressions

Hi Bruce - Ahh yes the fonts - I never expected that but when I saw it I thought, you gotta be kidding, how did Whites know I needed that! I can see a good deal of thought went into this detector, and the results are 5 Stars! I'm in NJ and the ground was a bit frozen in a few areas I hunt but...

    SILVER FROM LAST 2 MONTHS

Thanks for the reply. I've only spent a few hours with it but I like the way it works, so easy to adjust on the fly and really does a number on both coins and jewelry.

    V3i - First Impressions

I had it out for about an hour yesterday afternoon and I think it's a great detector. I really like the "on the fly" adjustments. I found two dimes that were in with tabs. This V3i should have a huge following.
