    Has anybody downloaded the update from Minelab for the Equinox 800?

    I have tried and my computer says it can't run the download. Am I doing something wrong or what? I downloaded the file using my desktop which is a windows 10 machine. I just thought before I went to too much trouble trying to download the file, I'd check and see if anybody else had done it. Phil

    Got an 800 on the way...

    I need some pointers to transition from my Etrac to the Equinox. My bad rotor cups have dictated that I start using a lighter detector. I have a couple of good light detectors for fields but I wanted a light one for parks and yards. I hope the 800 is it.

    Rob, I'm hoping the SEF will be quieter and not false as much as the D2 does. My non-V rated 6x10 coil off my early MXT runs much better on my Spectra than the D2. I'm getting ready to send my V3 in for the V3i upgrade and they are supposed to check my coil and re-chargable battery pack also...

    The IH was about 6in deep. At this park the old coins I've dug have varied between 5 and 9in deep. The shallowest coin I've dug was this 2 cent piece. It's been shot in case you are wondering.lol

    The IH's minted after 1864 sound about like zinc pennies. I think the VDI is low 50 to mid 50's and the early IH's (fatties) hit with a VDI in the high 20's or 30.
