    Simplex Success.

"the Seacher" which is one of two top Uk National Magazines has a full front page cover and inside story about 2 Simplex machines and their users. They have located 2 separate and very large bronze age hoards. This is excellent news for the Hobby and also newcomers with limited funding when...

    First Beach trip.

Here in the UK Storm Ciara is in its death throws and Iam going to try the Local beach. Iam not a beach detectorist by nature, but it will be interesting to see how the Simplex gets along in the wet sand. Any tips from others experiences with this particular detector appreciated. Happy...

    XP Deus Loves Gold.

During the last few days my son and I both using the XP Deus Deep settings visited the Somerset Mendip hills. Not far from a very old village he found a Gold Victorian mourning brooch containing some fair hair of the deceased. He followed this with a Gold ear ring. Not to be out done and by...

    Old Livery Brass Decoration.

I had a pleasing find this week and after a few hours in the barrel tumbler, it came up like new. These heavy horse decorations for very popular many years ago. Rather like having a nicely decorated car or motor bike these days. Happy Hunting, Jerry.

Equinox Funny and not so funny.

Here in the UK a couple of days ago E-bay had one posted for £2000 or offers, but was later withdrawn for some unknown reason. In the UK we have Black Fridays sales and this doctored cartoon came up. Certainly made us smile this side of the big pond. Happy Hunting, Jerry.

    Exuinox

Has any detectorist actually taken delivery of a production machine ???? I have read most of the internet threads and noted claims? that at least 2 production machines have been sold at very inflated prices. If true, this is disgusting when thousands of genuine detectorists world wide have...

XP Deus finds one of the worlds rarest American coins.

Jerry Morris a Octogenarian detectorist on the final swing of the day with his XP Deus last winter season heard a sweet sound on the headset. A few minutes later he was holding a small copper coin rather like a English 1600`s copper farthing token. It turned out to be a 1658-59 Lord Baltimore...

    CTX 3030

I have noticed that Minelab adverts for the CTX 3030 have been removed for the last 3 months from the main inside pages of a favourite and large circulation, UK national magazine. ie This month they are promoting the old faithful e-trac and the safari models. Is this a possible indicator that...

Deus Controller 100% protective waterproof case.

Thanks to a guy in the USA and his video I modified a "aryca WS13B" case to fit my Deus unit to my own liking. The controller fits like a glove and goes in like new and comes out still like new for recharging. Just remove the 2 grub screws on the Deus top shaft and replace the existing slide...
