    Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately my Pro-Golds are not compatible, I bought those for my ETrac and keep Grey Ghosts attached to my CTX. I did order a stereo to mono adapter to try on the WM-08. Sold my Excalibur and bought the 800 last week, looking forward to running it in a couple weeks...

    CTX arrived today. Out of the box impression.

    I assembled the machine and installed the alkaline battery pack with fresh batteries, charging the other. Sync'd the wireless module and plugged in my Pro Gold's. Wireless module works flawlessly and with no delay. Pro Gold's will not shut off the CTX speaker as expected from previous reports...

    Since my CTX is awaiting delivery,

    I grabbed my Excalibur II and my wet suit and headed for a swimming hole. Made it home with 7 quarters, a Kennedy Half, 2 dimes, 2 pennies and 1 nickel. Also had a few pull tabs and a lead sinker. And 14k made the day. BCOOP
