The Nokta/Makro Simplex+ is doing great.

It is insane that Nokta/Makro can sell such a powerful machine for 299.99 I actually think that it will be of detriment to think that this machine cant keep up with so many of the other machines out there. Whatever you use is the best for you. All the major manufactures make quality machines. It...

Large Cent, button, and wheatie with the Simplex.

We all had a great time today at a group hunt in NH. Lots of friendly and cool people there. My Nokta/Makro Simplex+ ran great. I was often nodding my head because I couldn’t believe how deep I was hitting birdshot. I was more than happy to let a few hunters try the Simplex+. One gentleman after...

3 colonial coppers and a real zipped out of iron.

With the 7" concentric coil on my Anfibio, I pulled great finds out of iron infested sites that I gave up on with my old machine. I detected the edge of a typical New England farm field circa late 1600's, and pulled some colonial coppers and a well worn Spanish real. HH Jason

8" concentric coil on the Nokta/Makro Anfibio. Nice!

I was able to get out for a short time and learned another valuable lesson. The 8" concentric coil from Nokta/Makro is awesome on their detectors. I used the 8" on the Anfibio in a local yard and found a well worn standing liberty quarter, and a 1920 mercury dime. The lesson learned is that the...

Just like the box says. The Multi Kruzer is bringing my old sites back to life.

I had the chance to do some metal detecting the other day and had a great time. So far this year I have not had to scout for any new spots. I have been revisiting the old places that I have been documenting for 16 years in a journal. The amount of stuff I am pulling out of my old stomping...

The Nokta/Makro pulse dive. A great alternative use.

In my years of detecting I've hit some old homes with stairs and porches that have tight crawl spaces that would be a chore to lug a detector underneath. With the Nokta/Makro Pulse Dive, I can see this being a great tool with it's conventional coil option to revisit those tight crawl spaces...

Minelab possibly returning to the Sovereign platform in a new package.

I have been hearing rumblings that Minelab is releasing a new detector called the Vanquish. I read in a forum that a dealer is absolutely certain that it is going to be a new machine that will be considered the new Sovereign. We can only hope. So pay attention to the grapevine. HH Jason

    BBS and multi iQ

My Sovereign GT is smooth as butter on a muffin at the saltwater beaches. My GT is great on wide open fields with little trash to help find the deep larges and small silver as well. These are not revelations to any of us long time Sovereign users. With BBS I can tell aluminum and bottle caps by...

Minelab Equinox series compared to the Minelab BBS machines

Obviously recovery speed is on the Equinox side. But what about raw depth especially on salt wet sand. Also by tones I can easily I’d aluminum and bottle caps with my Sovereign GT. The BBS machines run on approximately 17 frequencies simultaneously. Not looking to get a mine vs your debate. Just...

The extent of the MX7 splash proofness

I saw the videos on the Whites web page where the guy pours a gallon of water on the machine. However, I was wondering what about where the headphone plug in at the rear of the machine. So if it starts raining and I decide to stay in the field, Do I have worry about water getting in the...

user tip: Highlighting your Kruz controls.

I took some fluorescent sticky labels and cut them to size my pinpoint (pink) and ground balance (green) buttons. If you have been using a plastic control box cover on your machine for a while there is a good chance that if you hold the cover up to a light, you can see thumb pressure...

    A wish from the USA.

I know it takes time on the business end of things, so I wont ask when we are getting USA dealers. All we can do is hope that one day we can buy Vista machines in the states. And if that day comes, I think Deeptech would benefit from absorbing the analog detector fans that Tesoro left behind...

The first ever PC metal detecting game. Serious metal detecting.

I am a hardcore gamer and metal detectorist. What a great way to pass the winter blahs. It’s called serious metal detecting available on Steam. https://www.pcgamer.com/serious-metal-detecting-is-like-dayz-only-with-metal-detecting/

    King of the analog machines.

I sure would like an America manufacture or a European company to come out with an ultimate knobs and toggle beep and dig analog. Target tone ID like a golden Sabre on steroids or a Tejon souped up with growth hormones. manual ground adjust, iron volume, dual disc, and a background threshold to...

Multi Kruzer EUD function help needed.

I have had some great success using my Multi Kruzer in old sites that I have used my Sovereign. My god, I can not believe how the speed of recovery and iron see thru have been pulling good finds I missed with many years of using my other machine. I use 3 tone and bounce between 2 tone and GEN to...
