    Hard to see display ...

    My E-trac has a dim and hard to see display even using the back light. Have tried master reset with no improvement. Adjusted the contrast and that dont help either. It just appears to be dim and hard to see even in sunlight. Kinda like the plastic over the screen was becoming less transparent...

    All metal mode ....

    I see there are threads relating to all metal mode by pressing the horseshoe button. But it has been explained that is not a true all metal mode. Isnt the pinpoint mode a true all metal mode? Why not just search in pinpoint mode if you want no discrimination and all metal?

    WOT coil nut and bolt ...??

    As you can see from the photo the standard Minelab Coil nut and bolt wont work. A 1/4" nylon boly is too sloppy of a fit in the hole. What nut and bolt is others using to mount the WOT coil to their E-Trac?

    Infinium LS question ...

    I understand the Infinium LS is a PI type detector. I read some where that it does have some form of iron discrimination. The two tones, low and high, will change. Is this true and does it really work in salt water?
