    Depth difference on Recovery Speed?

    On the 800 is there less depth the faster you set the recovery speed?

    Half Hour Relic Hunt

    Started out in the orchard on the farm I live on and found the saw looking thing. Out in the open fields found the other things. Going home found the nickel on the saw thing. It was a half hour of cheap thrills. LOL.

    I don't know what these are for

    The quarter is just for size. The large square thing has four short legs. Don't know what is was for. The buckle thingy has a sliding middle bar. Any idea what it was for? Found on the farm I live on with the V3i.

    Hudson's thing. What was it used for?

    Found this today. Never found one before. I believe it is made of thin copper. The nickel is for sizing which I found today too. Anybody know what it could have been used for? On the right on the Hudson's thing are two tabs that can be bent underneath.

    Went detecting today with the V3i

    The Hudson's thingy at the bottom of the picture I believe is made of thin copper. If anyone knows what it was used for, it would be appreciated. It sure was a glorious day today.

    Took out my new to me V3i

    I took my V3i out to my test garden and tested it on my 9+ inch deep copper Lincoln and silver dime. In 2.5kHz the detector bangs really good with a good VDI and that with the stock 10" DD coil. Boost was off. I tried the Multi-freq. and it didn't hit on the coins. If anyone knows how to adjust...

    XLT verses DFX?

    I've read that some folks who have an XLT and a DFX believe their XLT outdetects their DFX. One person recently said his XLT goes deeper than his DFX and identifies targets better at depth. What are your thoughts on this?

    This farm is stingy giving its hidden treasures

    I'm told the masonic pin is from the 1920's. No one I know who lived here was a Mason. There is a fancy script 'E' on the back. Never found one before. Found with the Deus after work tonight on the farm I live on.

    Finds today

    Found the 14K gold ring with small diamond and amethyst stone and buffalo in a park this morning with my E-trac. First gold ring with the Etrac. Later tonight took the Deus in the back yard and scored another buffalo and merc. HH!

    Simultaneus Multi-Frequency

    I just saw a video where the tester said the new detector has simultaneous multi-frequency technology. So the detector has freqs of 5,10,15,20 and 40 kHz. So does these mean all these frequencies are simultaneous or all at the same time? That's how I take "simultaneous" to mean.

    My Indian Head drought is finally over . . .

    It's been a long time since I've found an Indian Head penny. Found this with my Detech Chaser. It was deeper than my Lesche digger in real hard to dig ground. HH!
