    Treasure Master detectors.

Any one know if the Treasure Master coils are compatible with the MXT series . Not sure what range this detector runs at verses the MXT or is it a different series altogether ?

    MXT 300

Bought a unused MXT 300 plus a 4x6 Eclipse DD for my second MXT. Promptly took the 300 coil off and replaced it with the 10x12 Sef coil. Other MXT is running with the 8x6 coil. Does anyone use the 300 coil with there detector and is it better than the sef ?

    MXT--SEF

Went to a new spot that hasn't seen a detector. Old fill under the turf which yielded some old junk. Not many modern coins but silvers about 5-6 inches deep Got 2 quarters a 55 and 61 Pulled out a dime which was a 1964. About 60 cents in other clad.older pennies in the 50-60s Sef coil handles...

Now have the 8x6 Sef coil.

Got it delivered by Fed X today sure is a well built coil. Seeing its going on the MXT later as waiting for spring to come where is the sweet spot on the coil when you pinpoint ? I imagine there could be some discrepancies depending on mineralization in the soil, not sure.

    Coil choice ?

I have the older MXT and would like to get a smaller coil for it. Which one would be suggested , The Eclipse 5.3 or the sef 8x6 coil ? Price wise there the same but sef a little larger. I've read on the sef in the past post and seem to gravitate to it.

    How's the Compadre in the sand -- wet/dry ?

I'm thinking of a Compadre for sand hunting on the beaches. This would be fresh water beaches.Only wet/dry sand detecting. I've heard good things about small gold chains being detected and just wonder how it would do under those circumstances ! Most detectors will not pick those unless maybe a...

    Euro Tek update

Was hesitant at getting it going as was using the AT PRO on a recent 3 day hunt. Had three baseball diamonds and school yard to tackle. Gridded most of them using the Euro Pro. AT PRO was the backup. Very light and fast recovery battery good for the long haul. Total clad for the three days was...

    Euro tek PRO Gold ?

Just ordered the Pro and should get it shortly. Getting the 8 inch concentric coil with mine. Reviewing past post and seems to be not many gold finds done with this detector. I see silver and lots of coinage.but lack of gold items .Am I missing something or are they not digging the lower VDI's ?

    EAGLE II SL

Picked up this detector, what year was the production of this unit. Works excellent ,what can I expect from it ? I see a few post down they talk about the Eagle II SL 90 .Is there a difference as this one does not have the 90 # on it. Uses 4 C cells for batteries. I don't have the manual for it...

    Used the MXT this AM

Checked out a spot where kids use toboggans in the winter. Hunted for 2 hours ended getting total of $ 8 in clad and the usual junk. One of the spot was a wide signal where I first thought another piece of metal junk. Decided to check it as it was somewhat different. It was a coin spread of...

Hunted the sand for about two hours found about $2 in clad plus lots of bottle caps and bobby pins. Dug buried beer cans about 15 to...

Does the F 5 have a fetish for dimes ?

First time out with the unit trying it out. Really impressed with how it works.:fisher::thumbup: Tried it for an hour found 10 dimes and 10 pennies 2 nickels.
