    That is strange. They sent me a new face plate & keypad and I sent the defective one back to them. My detector was still under warranty at the time so maybe that is the difference.

    Assuming that they increment the s/n by one for every unit, yours would have been the 45,258 unit made. I bought mine in July of 2018 and it is up to 415,464. I know...... I have too much time on my hands :)

    Find a frequency that is quiet and back off of the sensitivity. More important go slow. Take baby steps to make sure that your coil is passing over every inch of ground with no zig-zag gaps. Pay no attention to those taking giant steps and swinging the coil a foot off the ground at each end...

    How good is the XP Deus on coin shooting?

    I agree with that 100%. VDI isn't everything. The eyeball beats everything in identifying targets :) Here is one of Gary Blackwell's Skill School Video's that actually did help me in digging deep targets. The day after I saw this video I dug a 10 inch deep Barber dime so I know it can be done.
