    CTX 3030 Audio pinpointing problem

    Good day, I have an unusual problem with my new CTX. I can pin point without any problems if I do not use the headphones,but I have no audio in the pin point mode when I use them. Regular audio through the head phones is fine. Just when I try and pin point...anybody can help with this one????

    No audio when pin pointing???

    Hi guys, I ran into this odd problem, I cannot get any audio when in the pin point mode,while using the headphones. It works fine without them...anybody else run across this issue?? I am new to the CTX,as you can see from my heading,I upgraded from a V3.

    Wireless Headphone interferring???

    Interesting problem with my Spectra V3. It seems that when I use the wireless headphones,it boggles up the machine. The detector starts to chatter,with the headphones turned off...it's fine. Anyone run into this before?

    Yes,we had several U.S bases here. I done a lot of detecting at Fort Pepperell here last year,got a lot of american silver.

    Thanks Blind Squirrel,I knew someone out there would know. We are finding a fair bit of U.S silver coins in the same area,everything from a 1871 dime right up to 1940's 25 cent pieces.

    Your about to enter a great hobby! Like the previous comments,it is very important to read the manual. It is also a good idea to dig all your targets for the first few times out,until you get use to the machine.Once you match-up the targets with what the detector is telling you,you will enjoy it...
