F5 coil choice for 50 year old house demo lot

I am going to search a bunch of cleared lots that had late 60s-early 70s houses that were flooded in 2001. The flood control bought the lots and demo'd the houses and cleared the lots in 2005. So the houses only had about 30 years of use. It was a decent neighborhood so there might be some lost...

F19 best disc and V-break settings

For a trashy park that began in 1938 that has lots of the old type beer bottle caps, old beaver tail pulltabs and assorted junk from an old park, what would be good beginning settings for the V-break and disc setting on a new F19 owner? On my first outing I had set the V-break at 55 and the disc...

I have had my F5 since March and can't seem to find any jewelry....pultabs, can slaw, foil and bottlecaps--but no gold. I have tried many totlots in different ethnic areas, soccerfields, baseball fields and numerous areas. Am I just in areas where they don't lose rings?? I can't believe...

My 2nd hunt with the F5

Fisher F5 -- 2nd time out This morning I brought the F5, to 2 park areas, and at each one, did a quick scan of the totlot, then hit the grass areas. I think I have got the ground balance down pretty well and getting to adjust the gain up or down for better depth. It is very lightweight compared...

    F5 question

For those who have used the Fisher F5, I saw a tube video on the F5 and the guy was saying that his F75 sounded off the same on bottlecaps as it did on quarters. But the F5 in the 4 tone setting had the quarters in the high tone and bottlecaps the mid tone. Is this correct??? I have experienced...

    1880-1940 gun club site

I have been searching a park that used to be the site of an old German gun club. Competition shooting matches were held on the grounds between 1880-1940. AT Pro coil choices

Going to get the AT Pro and was wondering about the optional concentric coil. I just saw a air test with the DD coil. In my area ( Texas) the soil isn't too bad, and from what I have read the concentric does get better depth in less mineralized soil than the DD. Would the 9X12 coil be better...
