    Did any of you guys see the new metal detecting show on Natgeo?

    It was excellent, nothing like that idiotic "Diggers" that they put on recently. ChicagoRon is one of our forum members from beach and water side. He did an excellent job in showing what metal detecting is all about. Great spokesperson. Ed, this show was done partly in England.

    Now we get to go back this weekend and clean up a messy yard and throw out all my food out of the refrig. Luckily my sister was able to rescue my meats out of the freezer and put them in her freezer that ran on generator power.

    We finally got our power back on.........that was a rough one!

    It was hot today with the AT Pro and Ace 350

    Beach hunting has been kinda slow........although I recently did find a platinum ring. Hubby and I have been hitting the parks, it was hot today and both machines were hot on the trail of coins. Hubby is kind of an expert on where to look for coins in the parks.

    Took 12 years of hunting to find my first platinum..........rather ugly ring but I'll take it. The elephant's ear, body, eye and feet are 18K and the rest of the ring is platinum. it is pretty beat up, needs a good cleaning and polishing. The photo does not show the gold very well.

    950 18K..........AKA platinum with 18k ............Rather ugly ring but I will take it! The photo does not show the gold very well but the elephant's body, ear, eye and feet are 18k while the rest ot the ring is platinum. It needs a good cleaning and polishing being rather scratched up.
