    can anyone tell me how to clean my first 1893 no miint mark Barber Quarter

    It appears to be in very good shape but it has a very dark gray tarnish coating on it. Should I just take it to a coin dealer/Jewelry store to have it cleaned and how much do you think they will charge me?

    Pinpointing with the SEF 12/10 coil

    I have no problem pinpointing with the Pro coil whatsoever. I just got the 12/10 and the first thing I did was to put coins on the ground and tried the same methods and I can see how this coil reacts. The problem is out in the field with multiable targets under the coil it becomes a real pain...
