    Finally... After almost three months and $90 in clad...

    I found my first silver coin with the golden uMax today, a 1942 merc, in nice shape, and I did not ding it. Was not expecting it at all, thinking it was another penny or clad dime, it was about 4 inches deep.

    Golden uMax finds more gold!

    Found this beautiful cross yesterday. It is about 2 inches long, weighs 4.1 grams and was tested today to be solid 14 k gold = $95. It was about an inch below the turf. It is my second gold find for the season.

    Went out to two places with the golden uMax today, first I found this nice stainless steel ring at the edge of a BB court, then I found this nice necklace (silver?) at an old school yard, by another. Also found over $9 in clad!

    Cleaning up the clad?

    Could I get some tips on cleaning up and perhaps even removing the tarnish from the clad coins I am finding? I have arock tumbler that I thought might work, but what should I put in it with the coins? Any help would be appreciated.
