    Asheville or Hickory North Carolina

Looks like I will be transferring there sometime this summer. Wondering if anyone knows the area. I'm curious if there are a lot of detectorists there, what the laws are like, if its still possible to get on good sites there, etc. Also if there are any local forums. Thanks.

    Lady barber is my valentine

Found this sweet 1902s barber half today after work. The detail is actually prefect but it has that thick black coating on it that seems to happen when silver is in the hole with iron. Any suggests on how to get that off without hurting it? Peroxide does not work.......

    Explorer dirt question

I have an se pro and have no troubles in most types of soil, but there is a certain type of loamy clay that you seem to find here in texas in areas that have been used for cattle grazing for long periods of time even if its not recently. It turns the ground into this hard thick stuff that is...

The ones I have seen come out of germany and are super expensive and bulky, but still my interest is peaked. I sense the next wave of treasure hunting technology coming on. Does anyone know anything about them?

    Sunray short help.

Ok so I have an se pro with a sunray probe. I bought it used and have no warranty. I've also learned a valuable lesson.
