    I'm using the standard alkaline 1.6 volt battery, 12.8 volt battery pack. What is the cutoff voltage for the battery / battery pack where the detector drops off or where it is no longer reasonably usable? Thanks.

    Sorry I don't have a photo. Please just imagine the description. I found a ring that looks and weighs every bit like a platinum. On the inside of the ring, the only thing it reads is 19k. A first for me! Any ideas what it could be? vernt

    CZ-21 worn stem

    Can anyone recommend a straight rod stem. The hole in my upper stem is enlarging allowing too much swivel and side to side play. Fisher made it so that only one hole and pin line up. I like the handle and arm rest but want a stem where two holes and pins line up . I appreciate your help. Thanks.

    Whites Dual Field Battery Pack

    A fully charged alkaline battery pack is about 12.66 volts. Has anyone ever tested at what terminal voltage reading the detector drops off at? Knowing this would help project approximately how much usable detector time remains by measuring the present terminal voltage. Thanks. vernt
