    Hunted two field sites recently. Turned up two matron head large cents, one of which was holed and had a piece cut out of it. Recovered another coin sized copper that was probably a King George copper as there were two other KGs recovered from this field by my hunting buddies... I never know...

    Hunted an old house today with a friend. Found an 1865 2 cent piece, a nice silver plated buckle piece that I thought was solid silver when it came up, and a huge flat button.

    Hunted a nice 1791 homesite today and pulled a few keepers from the ground. Got a nice solid coin hit on my new Etrac (11-44) in the back yard that was pinpointing at 6-7 inches deep. Pooed out a nice big copper coin at 7 inches and it turned out to be a sweet King George II halfpenny. Also...

    Got out for a hunt today with a buddy. Found a good array of finds at an early 1800s farmhouse that is still in use. 2 indian heads... a religious medal, a nice intact pocket watch, and an interesting 10 cent trade token.
