    BLISSTOOL comparisons.

Very good reports here about the Blisstool. Maybe we do not need a good iron discriminating PI(Pulse Induction) now since the VLF Blisstool is here, except when discriminating in wet saltwater sand where the FBS(E-Trac & CTX-3030) machines are best. The VLF Bilsstool sounds like a PI(Pulse...

GB Pro, differentiate hotrocks and gold?

My friend has Minelab GPX-4500 and it cannot handle the hotrocks in a certain area, even with a DD coil. The numerous hotrocks(about one every 5 feet he said) give loud signals and sound just like gold. He wants me to ask if the GOLD BUG PRO with identify those hotrocks on all its TID numbers...

Why buy a Sovereign GT over a Safari.?

I just recently saw that a new Safari(FBS & $999) is $50 less expensive than a new Sovereign GT(BBS & $1049). I know that the Sovereign GT can be hipmounted, has true auto tracking ground balance in all metal only, and has an add-on meter for extra cost. But otherwise is a Safari a better...

    Throws off the numbers.

The E-Trac with the 2 different sets of numbers has great resolution. But I would like to know if the same type of coin on edge, at an angle, corroded, worn down more, etc. gives different readings and effects(throws off) the E-Tracs 2 sets of numbers(resolution) making it somewhat ineffective.??

    Two Safari questions.

I do have a X-Terra 70 and Musketeer Advantage, but I do not have a Safari. My X-Terra 70 does have auto-track ground balance in Discriminate mode and the Musketeer Advantage manual ground balances in Discriminate mode. (I know the Sovereign GT does not auto-track ground balance Discriminate...

Buy Made in USA, Canada, Australia, etc.

Buy Made in USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, or where ever you live. Avoid Chinese made merchadise, keep our money at home instead. Job creation and the economy are a top priority, so why doesn't President Barack Obama tell everyone to buy Made in USA, over and over, in his economic...

    T2 for gold prospecting

I am new to the Teknetics forum so I hope I am not repeating an old idea too much. But I am thinking about buying the lightweight(advertised as the best ergonomics in the industry) T2 Ltd for gold prospecting in shallower(and all) areas and/or trashy areas, and also for finding gold specimens...
