    If you do the update then later do a factory backup does it take you back to original update....do you have to do the update again??

    can you use the advance settings with 50 tones?

    when using the 50 tones setting seem I can't use advance settings....setting volume of certain Id's....setting tones of certain Id's etc....I can do this in the 5 tones setting but not 50 tones...is there a way or just the way it is:shrug:

    Do you have to do factory preset every time?:shrug:

    Do you have to do a fact.preset every time you go to a diff. Mode to set tones,..volume of tones ,...disc......I did it on Park1..but can’t go to like park2. ..or field 1 and do the same thing without doing a FP.... can’t you do that?...:confused:k

    Bottle caps figured out....I believe...easy

    Ok....botttle caps can give you a nickel reading or around the 16 reding...."hears what you do ....swich to 5 kHz if it jumps to like around the 30 reading ..IT IS A BOTTLE CAP!! end of story.....try it ...

    Global and local settings not sure?

    I think I no what’s going on but....it says .and I got this from the manual...When you are adjusting Settings and Advanced Settings, the icons of afected Detect Modes will appear on the LCD......not sure what they are getting at.. it has global settings....semi global settings ...local settings...

    expanded 8-times range of 5 to 40 kHz.??::confused:

    noticed in the brochure in it..it say that the 800 has 5 freq. but has an expanded 8-times range of 5 to 40 kHz....not sure what is 8-times range ...range of what..?:detecting:

    how many diff. friq. does fbs use at one time?

    we know the EQ.. has up to 5 friq.plus multi so lets say it uses 3 of them in any given program...or all in multi....how many does like say the Etrac use at one time...or does it depend on what number your noise cancel picks when you press it....I've heard number 1.2.3 is good for silver and...

    Much better wireless..read

    I have been checking out the wireless headphones made for the makro....and found they are Bluetooth ...which might not be bad ...but from what I found real time wireless is 6 times faster response then Bluetooth wireless .....so be carefull ..Z-link by Garrett is something to look at...you use...
