Over here in Oahu, the best coil by far is the V rated white 10X12 inch SEF coil for detecting the dry sand in the prospecting mode. In a lot of areas, I can run the sensitivity up to 15 while having a smooth threshold. I have a area that has many pulltab 12 to 15 inches deep. The 950 coil...

I do not know if the engineers are working on any more software updates? But for sure to my way of thinking, they really need to do one more. At the present time, when you are operate in one frequency. If you switch over to the "Active pinpoint screen" or the "Active analyze screen'. You...

For Carl and the programmers to look at.

I want to be able to hunt in parks in the prospecting mode using the 22.5 kHz frequency for the maximum chance of finding gold jewelry. But when I change to the analyze mode, I want to be able to see all three frequencies displayed to help me determine if the target maybe gold. It does not...

    Hot rocks in Oahu Hawaii

I really believe in pushing metal detectors real hard while testing them. I was not dressed to go into the water today as I was heading to the military bases to do some shopping for food. Hot rocks in Oahu Hawaii

I took the Vision to an area that has hot rocks in the wet sand. I used the salt beach mode with RX = 15 and turbo boost on. I found that going over a hot rock from soft ball to bowling ball size. The Vision would some times make a small sound the first time as I passed the coil over the hot...

    Settings of factory preset programs

I had just talked to my local dealer telling him that we need this information real bad. He asked me if I could figure this out my self. I told him that it was too much work for something that the factory should have done already for us. So a real big mahalo to you Mike!

    Vision by saltwater beaches

You are right that we have real bad electronic interference here. I was very pleasant surprise that I could run the Vision in the salt beach mode gain at 15 with turbo boost on with no problems at a beach near the airport while looking at over 7 different TV and radio stations antennas with in...
