    I finally bit the bullet on a new Simplex. Perfect timing. FREE Pulse Dive with it!!! I have it all charged a put together. Hopefully I can try it out this week. Only initial negative is the lower rod. So bad I ordered the lower carbon fiber shaft. Should be good to go when it arrives.

    Carbon fiber shafts worth the $$$??

    omega 8000...Stock or DD coil??

    I have decided skip the lower end detectors and opt for the Omega 8000. My only question is stock or DD coil to start? I do not have the $$ to afford a multi coil package. I will be mostly doing coin and relic hunting in parks and fields.
