    What's it?

I'm at a loss on this one!

    5 more minie's and a ???

I froze my buttooski off today but since the ground is still fit to dig I went out in the mud field and dug up a few goodies. So, the one boolit has a kind of a star pattern in it's base. These 5 make for a total of 61 bullets thus far from this field. I pretty much guarantee there's more :)...

Field yields a few more boolits

So I went out in the cold today, 35 degrees and windy. This farm has a few spots I've discovered. Two separate civil war sites thus far, and an old cabin/shack location where the old Catholic Mother Mary medallion and the floral button were liberated. I included the little bit of chain, well...

    I like my NOX

I wanted to c'mon in here and post up some pictures of a farm site I've been working. This stuff was dug in the past 10 days or so. I run the Nox 800, field 2, sensitivity +2, 5 tones, Multi, constant ground balance, otherwise no change to settings. It's the second detector I've ever owned...

Nox 800 in a Pennsylvania Farm Field

I am lucky to have exclusive access to a farm rather local to me. I go out there when I can. I have included a picture of a tray of the items I've dug on the site so far. I've also included a picture of an early 1700's Spanish silver I dug on the property. It was random, not located near most of...

    I found Jesus :)

I was at the beach a couple times in the past week. I dug lots of sinkers, pop tabs, bottle caps, crusty pennies, nickles, quarters, you all know the drill right? I'd say I had a total of 10 or 12 hours out there over several days. Anyway, I did dig a 14k gold ring, it hit at a solid 13. And...

    10k gold ring

I hit this gold ring today in a local park that has a couple ball fields, surprised the heck outta me. Park 2, recovery speed at 3, this 10k ring hit at 13.

    Gold, Silver, and stuff!

Last for now, a random sample of goodies. What a great find when that gold ring popped out of the sand, whew! Ten boolits, all in a row, dug along a two lane highway. The date is not readable on that little silver, but I've researched it and believe it to be a 1731 Reale minted in Mexico City...

    Coins, Coins, and Coins

Here's a sample of the coins I've been able to liberate from mother earth. I have tubs full of wheaties, and a whole bunch of other containers with all sorts of goodies in them, but I wanted to post up this sample.....just for fun! Check out that Great Coat button, gold gilt.

I like the farms and fields :)

Here are two separate farms in the area, and the stuff I've dug on them. Not included in pictures....tons of iron and trash

    1863 anyone?

I thought I'd take some time and post up a picture or two. Here's one of some of my digs over the past couple of years. Enjoy :)

    Who doesn't like pictures, right?

Here are some recent digs with the Nox 800. All in farm fields. I am lucky to have several farms where I can get out and swing. The first photo is two coppers, one is too worn to even read, the second is a KG. That larger smashed bullet appears to possibly have been a 'pain bullet'. Note the...

    First Indian Head

I knew there just had to be an indian head penny somewhere waiting for my atpro to discover. Not a real lucrative day, but I'm not on sites that have been giving up the gold. 1906, 1911, 1916, ...... I think I may go back to this place and snoop around some more.

Now I have to get honest with y'all....

I DIG A WHOLE LOT OF TRASH  I've pictured my little shelf, it has some cool stuff on it, and I've lost count, but I think I've filled 3, maybe 4 five gallon buckets with trash iron!

    A third site I've been working :)

This is another site I've been on, it's another lot in a residential area. I think the buttons are WW1 or WW2 era. Adolph Weidenbach (Charles Willoughby) has an interesting story. Not sure the connection to the site I found these items on, other than Camp Colt, and a few other reunions/events...

    Variety of Life

I'll definitely be going back to this property. I know there's more stuff to be found there. I'm going to let y'all guess what the little silver ring is. The button is interesting too. I like the bell, and that ball there is either bronze or brass, the closest I can measure is an inch and one...

    1863

I have to admit, I've been remiss in posting up pics of my finds. I've had my AT Pro since December of last year and have found all kinds of stuff..... So, I'm going to start out with a pic of the stuff I've dug from a little property that sits on the site of part of Pickett's Charge. It's a...

    What a story!

Hi folks. I have a couple hundred hours on my AT Pro. A buddy wanted a metal detector, so I suggested he get one just like mine, and he did :) Now, this guy has a place at the beach and my wife and I were down to visit he and his family. We started out one Saturday morning and found nothing on a...
