    SUNDAY AND TUESDAY FINDS

Found the buffalo and silver nickel at a park on Sunday, using the stock coil, two tone mode, gain set at 80 and filters at 20. the 1779 Spanish 1/2 reale came from a different park that also was the site of a colonial home site. My OOR coil finally came on Monday so I had to try it out. Very...

Red Racer finds a nice one today.

But it wasn't enough to be the winner of the day, My buddy found a beautiful 1885 key date V-nickel. And prize for the oldest coin went to another friend for his 1863 Indian Head penny. All in all a great day out.

A couple keepers with the Red Racer

I managed to find a little thawed ground last Sunday, unfortunately in an area of the park I've hunted quite a bit in the past. I didn't have very high expectations, but the Racer didn't let me down, it managed to sniff out a couple buffalo nickels. Looks like temps in the mid 50's tomorrow...

    AWESOME DETECTOR

Due to our mild winter I was able to take out my new Racer over the weekend and hit a couple of my favorite pounded sites. I absolutely love the speed of this machine, I dove right in and took it to the most iron infested spots I could. The two tone mode is great in the iron and seems to be able...

Two rings, First Gold with ATX

Had a chance a make a trip to the coast on Saturday for a little beach hunting. I see I need to do this more often. Both rings were in the wet sand down a good two scoops. I also dug a bunch of clad and a junk earing. The ATX ran smooth and deeeeep. Looking forward to getting back again soon...

    ATX Finds its first silver

Had a chance to get to the coast this past weekend with a buddy and hunt an old beach. I mainly hunted the dry sand due to the high tide but that was ok. I found quite a few older coins at some very impressive depths. Two 1940's nickels were well past the one foot mark as well as a few wheatie...

A couple oldies with the AT Gold this morning..

Decided to take the AT Gold out this morning to one of my favorite old parks. And as usual she didn't let me down. I also dug a shield nickel but it was to far gone to get a good picture. HH Butch NY

    Not sure which is worse.

Too much work or lousy weather, but both have kept me from detecting for what seemed like forever. I finally got a chance to sneak out for a bit this morning. I guess it was worth the wait. Happy fathers day to all the dads out there.. HH Butch NY

    Today's Outlaw finds.:detecting:

Me and a friend hunted an old site we've hunted in the past. It's an old lakeside kids camp from the 30's or 40's but there is also an old colonial home site on the property, so it makes for a large variety of finds. We have dug colonial coins that date back into the 1700's plus buckles, buttons...

Awesome day out with the Outlaw..

Took the Outlaw out to an old foundation site today. It preformed flawlessly in all the iron bits and pieces, needless to say I was very impressed. The 1855 Seated dime was the deepest find at 6 inches all the others were in the 3-4 inch range. The dark coin is an 1804 Half Cent, It's in pretty...

    Two toke's in the pock.

What, doesn't everyone talk this way??? Well after what seemed like an endless winter I got a chance to get out a bit today, not my first time out this season but at least it was in the 50's and the frost is gone. Had a little luck with a couple cool tokens. Hope everyone has a happy Easter...

Weekend finds with my new Outlaw.

Hi all, I'm usually posting over on the AT Pro forum, but I've been wanting an ultra light back pack machine for hiking so I picked up an Outlaw. I have to say I'm pretty impressed with its performance, and lightweight, oh my god this thing is light as a feather. I got a chance to hunt a bit...

    Weekend finds.

Our ground thawed enough to get out a bit this weekend. Met up with fellow findmall member ajaj at one of our local parks. It's always good when we can get out in mid January here in upstate NY. I managed to coax a few old ones out of their hiding places in the thick trash blanket of pull tabs...
