    Manually selecting Noise Cancel channels

    Does manually selecting Noise Cancel channels change the sensitivity to silver, gold etc. I believe lower channels such as 3 or 4 was hotter on silver than say 9 or 10 was on the Etrac. The higher numbers were hotter on gold with the Etrac. Do these numbers hold true on the CTX.

    How does the CTX 17" coil compare to the 13" Ultimate on the Etrac

    I bought the Detech Ultimate 13" coil last year for my Etrac and was extremely impressed. Now I have the CTX and I'm looking at the 17" coil. $400 is a big decision. Has anyone had both of these coils and compared depth, weights, sensitivity etc.

    Recommendations for a lightweight midsize coil for the Etrac

    I am looking into getting a midsized coil for my Etrac. I do have the X-5 for a small coil which is very light. As I am getting older I have a hard time getting more than about 2 hours with the stock coil. Does anyone know the difference in weight between the X-8 and the 6x8 SEF. Thanks.

    Is there a need for a smalller coil if I use TTF with the stock DD coil

    I like to use TTF with an open screen in heavy trash with the stock DD coil. Is there any need to have an extra coil that is smaller in heavy trash areas using TTF or the factory programs.. Does TTF miss any signals in heavy trash with an open screen.

    Manually lowering GB numbers on Omega

    I have an Omega 8000 and an AT Pro. I noticed on the AT Pro forum that people are lowering the GB numbers manually after auto ground balancing. Is anyone doing this with their Omegas and have good results.
